The European School of Law is very pleased to announce that Jean-Paul Costa will be the patron and a speaker at the opening ceremony of the academic year. Mr Costa is currently the president of the International Institute of Human Rights - René Cassin Foundation, an honorary Councillor of State and a former president of the European Court of Human Rights.

At 2:30pm on Saturday, 30 September 2017, the School’s director, Wanda Mastor will open the year with a welcoming speech before giving the floor to the various eminent speakers in attendance.
As is custom, the School will then honour its brightest students by presenting certificates to the best in class in all years. One notable individual is the top student of the Franco-Italian double degree who has completed five years enabling her to obtain both a Master’s in International and Comparative law from Toulouse 1 Capitole University and a Master’s in Jurisprudence from the University of Milan.

The ceremony will end with a buffet in the University’s great hall to which the students, families and other attendees are cordially invited.
