The European Union’s push toward digital innovation which has been taken up by States should facilitate broad-scope transformations (especially in relation to the development of remote healthcare and the application of artificial intelligence to healthcare data). For this transformation to benefit everyone and not widen healthcare inequalities, effective access to these technologies must be ensured, while an ethical framework for their applications should be established.
The workshop is open to interested researchers and doctoral students.
