DU Desaps

Creation of a diplôme universitaire (DU) (degree awarded by Toulouse Capitole University) in addition to the general courses offered at the university, which is open to students of law but also medicine and pharmacy, public and private healthcare professionals, and law professionals who want to specialise in this field. Students will be able to earn ECTS credits for this DU, with the agreement of the university’s academic bodies (these ECTS credits are not included in the national ECTS equivalence framework, but will allow learners to have their learning recognised in order to obtain a certificate).

DESAPS newsletter

A twice-yearly online newsletter will include comments on the main judgments made in the field studied and monitoring of legislation. It will include all useful information related to the chair and reports prepared as part of the projects supervised.

Cooperation

Development of a collaboration between the Lycée Fermat de Toulouse and the DESAPS Chair to raise awareness of European issues related to health among first-year students on the Life Science pathway of the baccalauréat [French school-leaving examination]. To this end, an exploratory European teaching project has been set up around the topic of health issues in Europe. A new ‘European science and health’ option is now available to these students.

Two European health law conferences will be held for lecturers and researchers from UT Capitole: Nathalie De Grove-Valdeyron and Marc Blanquet.

Learning these concepts of European health law will allow the high school students to attend the Chair’s annual conference: Louis Dubouis days.
